Comments on the quality of instruction in the courses.
"When I started the course, I felt lost in the amount of new content. However, Professor Kim assured me that I would be fine after attending many of his office hours. Professor Kim answers any questions and is very kind as a person and teacher; he has significantly helped me become a better student and a smarter learner as well. After I got into the course routine, I felt in line and haven't deviated from it since!"
"I took this class expecting to be challenged, and I certainly was challenged. It's incredibly rigorous, and there were multiple times during lectures when I was very lost. However, Dr. Kim was always happy to repeat and elaborate further. He frequently held office hours to help us and was always quick to respond to emails. His patience was the biggest reason why I did not drop this class."
"Dae Wook is an outstanding professor. He handled the classes doubts and was always willful for helping me with extra math material that I presented him! He is was good mentor and a good teacher!"
"Professor Kim was one of the most caring, interesting, and understanding professors I've ever had. It was a joy to be in his class and I looked forward to it every week. He truly went above and beyond for the students. Overall, the quality of instruction was phenomenal and I would love to take another course with professor Kim."
"Dae Wook is an excellent professor. He was always more than happy to meet with me outside of class time when I was having trouble understanding the material. He was a very supportive and understanding professor and I really enjoyed taking this course with him."
"Dae Wook Kim did an amazing job teaching; he always offered extra help to students and was very happy to give more instruction if anyone was unclear. He did a great job preparing students for quizzes and he was able to make an extremely difficult class very doable for everyone."
"Professor Kim truly cared about his students and teaching and it showed very clearly. He was always willing to help students digest the material and understood that the material was difficult. I had a full load of courses so I personally struggled keeping up with the class, but Professor Kim was always willing to meet outside of his office hours and be accessible to help explain material which I am extremely grateful for"
"Dae Wook was an amazing professor. He explained and wrote out concepts very clearly. He answered students' questions well, and was super understanding, kind, and funny!"
It was a fun and insightful class with a lot to learn! Thanks to your thorough explanations and well-prepared materials, it was also great for reviewing the content.
