Graduate students (MS-PhD integrated program) in Brain and Cognitive Sciences 

• We are currently recruiting graduate students to join our research. After completing your doctoral studies, you may earn either a Doctor of Science (ScD/DSc) or a Doctor of Engineering (EngD) degree.

Undergraduate research opportunities

• Individual study and graduate research opportunities are available, but only for KAIST undergraduate students. Please contact me (daewook(AT)kaist.ac.kr) if you are interested. Please include the following documents in your email: 

- A brief statement about your research interests

- An academic transcript

• Undergraduate Research Program (URP): KAIST students who perform well in individual study may be eligible to apply for the URP.

Research Aims 

• Developing a mathematically rigorous understanding of complex dynamical systems (e.g., the brain). 

• Developing novel, generalized, interdisciplinary  methods to derive fundamental insights from real-world data

• Solving real-world problems by applying the methods and making digital twin
